Completely agree on this one.
And I had no idea I belong to the "modern audience". I am almost 70, but obviously in am "modern audience". Colour me surprised!
And, as you see my age, I am very much a player of the very first version of Dragon Age Origins (and even the older games of Bioware). I have played all the Dragon Age games, including the (no-cosmetic) DLC's. I am also a lover of the old CRPG games (Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Divinity and Divinity 2 Directors Cut, and so on and so on). Lately I have dived into more into the JRPG type of games (Trails series from Falcom, Atelier and Blue Reflection series from Gust).
I like Dragon Age The Veilguard very much. I think it's not top of the range but a very enjoyable game for it's price. It seems the majority of buyers here think the same, so I am in good company.
And those haters? Meh - Who cares about those nobody's?
Aqun-athlok is someone who doesn't fit the gender they were born in. It is literally explained ingame. In DA:I first, with Crem.
Taash identifies with neither gender. These are different. Trans is not the same as nonbinary.
Ok didn't played SM2 but did for SM1 having a quite better fame for SP, and it's low bottom quality, low bottom amount of content, less than 10H of single player play, a rip off.
Alright, I'll play. Transexual = aqun-athlok, nonbinary = not bothered to make up a word for it not to break the immersion.
Majority has spoken the Earth is flat. -The Inquisition
I've started playing around the original Bard's Tale so my opinion is clearly more important than yours: The Veilguard is no real Dragon Age game and it certainly isn't a real RPG.
