Thin black line
Hey everyone,

I'm having a strange horizontal thin black line on my screen (that is moving when i'm moving the camera and it disappears when i look at the ground or the ceiling) during certain zone in the game (actually in the necropolis). it's the first time i'm noticing it.
Did you have this too ? (to be honest, i already had it during metaphor too, only in one zone (the first dungeon) and never again.)

Not quite sure what is the cause of that. I tried several other games and it never appears.

CPU : 14700KF
GPU : RTX 4070 TI SUPER
Screen : LG OLED ultragear 244hz
FPS : unlimited

I don't know if it will work but try setting your screen to borderless windowed mode.

Does it show up in a screenshot?

Sounds like a graphics artifact but can't be sure and that is a really good gfx card.
If swapping between fullscreen and windowed doesn't work you can try to turn off the cinematic aspect ratio under the interface settings.

I had it too, but as it was only this one area it didn't bother me.

ok ! that's reassuring. My pc is new and so is my monitor. I was afraid it could be pc/screen issues

No, I think it's software. It's actually a rendering issue. I think it's related to the various levels of volumetric fog in the Necropolis, possibly coupled with DLSS/FSR. I'm just speculating though.

Have you tried to clean install the NVIDIA driver with DDU yet?

I turned off DLSS and Framegen but it still appears. Not sure but yes it seems like its the game since it only happens in this one and one area in metaphor (the entrance of first dungeon)

I didn't yet. I reinstalled it through nvidia experience but never used DDU.

It's a bug, I got it there as well and I hope it's on their list of fixes to come.

I’m currently on Necropolis on PS5 PRO and I’m having the same issue. Glad I found this and I’m not the only one.

Same.If you set the level of detail low, it disappears but appears not far away in another place.:steamsad:

Same, on PS5 Pro - so glad I found this, was worried it was hardware!
