Sales numbers estimation by steam reviews
the steam reviews-sales ratio is 1:30~50*, mostly is 35.
current reviews are about 19,500
19,500 * 35 = 682,500

The PC Console share on 2023/24 is 1:1.1~1.5*, I take the average number which is 1:1.3
682,500 + 682,500*1.3 = 1,569,750

1,569,750 copies sold.
it's the estimation for the first 10 days on its Sales numbers.

Can the game break even? Yep, I think it will, but may takes many years.

The reviews are 500 more than I expect so I make a quick update.

wat samples did u took from as reference tho? i think thats like extrapolation on top of extrapolation cuz samples could be based on solo platform release, multiplatform release, late release etc

The review-sale ration highly depends on how controversial the game is. This one is extremely controversial so 1:35 is just as likely as 1:10. You also have to account for returns.

This is highly unlikely. Dragon Age is historically not a well selling console game, and, additionally, console sales (overall) went far behind PC sales in recent years. My personal estimate would be 1:0.2--1:0.8 (likely on the lower end).

He's actually being very generous, the most accurate estimate I've seen suggested somewhere between $250-450 million. Which puts the break even point somewhere around 10.7 million copies sold.

The current estimate in sales is around 500,000 units.

This information of course is available with a cursory google search, which you would know if you were actually interested in any meaningful discourse.

Right, That's why you're ignoring all facts and figures presented and repeating your script over and over and over and over again.

No facts have been presented, the figures can therefore be discarded.

EA don't go brag about sale numbers like they did thrice with pre-order already loomed a dark future this game facing.
Jeff4u Nov 11, 2024 @ 1:28am
Dragon Dogma 2 has 3M sales and has double the peak players. So, it is reasonable for this to reach 1.5M. However, even 1.5M is a big failure. This probably needs 5M to breakeven.

This is just 1/10 of BG3 and doing business is not just breakeven. Bioware already has 3 failures and last success is 10 years ago. Tbh, it is no point to cont this studio as it just not sell anymore.
