What's your favourite part of northern Thedas & why?
Mine, by far, is the Grand F'in Necropolis.

I loved how Cassandra described Nevarra in DAI and was not disappointed. It completely fit the aesthetic

I loved the Necropolis too, also for the same reasons, Cassandra painted a great picture and the game didn't disappoint on that front

Nevarra, to be sure. Probably the most interesting area. The Tevinter lands kinda suck, there's little exploration of what the Tevinter impact is, outside of the opening grand-setpiece shows with the floating thing. But after that? Just a boring city.

The Kal-dwarves are really neat too, but barely touched on. Dwarves in general are pretty well relegated to last billing, aside from Harding's questline.

I really enjoyed returning to the deep roads, I honestly wish we could get a game that happened mostly down there

Same. That could actually be a super interesting setting.

So far, its gotta be Dock Town. After DA:I gave us the most vacant looking Imperial Capital, Dock Town feels alive, populated, and massive.

looks like some dev had a very bad acid trip and went heavy on DMT and LSD cocktail, and thats how northern Thedas was born.
Not a bad thing , just peculiar.

I love everything about the necropolis, the music, the companion and the faction (grey warden are still the best but mourn watchers 2!)

I also love the mission of weisshaupt, and I wish we could have visited more of it :(

Oh the deep roads! I love them in all of the games so much dwarves are my favourite race after all, I could go for a game based only in the deep roads too.

Since DAO Antiva.
It has so much beauty and is cruel at the same time.
Like a rose with thornes.

I think mine is Arlathan Forest. I'm a big fan of all the little puzzles throughout the forest and how you have to really think and utilize your companions to get through them. They did a really good job with the puzzles. It's challenging, but also enough fun that I don't get angry. I don't leave until I complete it. It's also just really pretty.
