Question about Solas romance ending

Like the title mentions, all the site mention, need to be female elf inquisitor to get the final ending with him and her. Does it really need female elf? Or any other race as well

Yes, it has to be a female Lavellan, as that was the only way to do his romance in Inquisition.

I finish the game and yes, the inquisitor has to be a female elf since in inquisition you only can be with him if you are a female and elf. When you make your character and choose other than a female elf it doesn’t let you to choose Solas as the romance option.

Folks have confirmed it like three times for you. The ONLY way to romance Solas in Inquisition, AND in the pre-selector, was to be a female Lavellen.

If i remember right in inquisition, that is the only romance option available for Solas so i'd imagine it carries over to here

I just started another game, just for you, and if your Inquisitor isn't an elf or isn't female, picking his romance as a background is locked.

The way to confirm it is to make the futile effort to try and romance him as anything other than a female elf. Feel free to try it, lmao.

i'm assuming they mean in Veilguard, not in Inquisiton.
