Most fun class to play?
I started as a mage but am not loving the combat mechanics. Warrior seems like it makes more sense given there is dodging (I'm not clear what Rogue combat is like). You really cant even experience practical combat until you get to the second mission so that takes 30+ minutes to test out each class (probably longer). Let me know if you have any strong opinions here!

Enjoying a Warrior: Reaper build focused mostly on Deadly Ground (almost all AOE and Duration passives across the board) and the Necrosis affliction... with the 2% of max health steal from all necrotic damage. You can make Deadly Ground apply Necrosis on impact and make it increase the Necrosis stacks to max. With the two AOE size increase passives, it almost covers the entire screen too.

Doesn't come into full effect until you're level 30, have enough points to reach all the passives and can get the health steal passive but once you do it's just mass destruction.

Had fun with the rogue, high fantasy flips and spins!

Blood mage / half-abomination .. focused on trying to help the God take vengeance on the world.

Oh wait .. I mean a misunderstood young mixed race man who always wanted to feel pretty in a dress but was beaten by his religious white father. Only after discovering the power within himself was he able to evolve into the woman she always knew she was. Now she goes on a grand adventure against the patriarchy with her diverse friends. Where they have long conversations affirming each other, broken up by repetitive fights and simple puzzles.

i feel like warrior is the only one that let you block the attacks properly. So maybe that works for you? also it has fire powers and is very handy in the game.

I'm having so much fun as a mage personally. I love all the skills and how I can do combos with other companions. I've always been a mage in the majority of my rpg games. Except for Skyrim...eww. I block attacks really well as a mage, the bubble does wonders.

I liked my mage but I think I have more fun with my warrior. I don't think rogue will be better but we'll see after the warrior is done (just got Taash but not Emmrich yet so still a lot to do).

i did mage my first play around - the first few levels of mage are a bit disjointed but as you fill out the passives and the skill tree its amazing.

im torn between warrior and rogue for my second play though.

Mage is my personal favorite, there are so many different ways to build them and it's a lot easier for me to do ranged fighting than anything else. I always play as a mage.

Not many rogues yet. I play only rogue (when I can't play a druid).

Rogue combat is great: you can fake stealth by shooting from a distance where enemies don't react to your presence yet. I often kill all enemies before companions even touch them. Some enemies have further range than you do, though. The ability animations are super unrealistic, but fun to watch. I would just be hesitant to play rogue at higher difficulty setting, because player always draws enemy aggro. I think only Davrin tanks effectively when you don't use the companion taunt abilities.

all 3 are for me equal in enjoyment to play. I kept switching characters because I kept wanting to play each class. I got the most enjoyment on Hard difficulty. So i suggest role play an idea that you want. For example I made a Human Rogue Grey Warden, Elf Warrior Lords of Fortune, and Human Mage Antivan Crow. The mage Antivan Crow is the story I finished the story with.
