Game crashing even after the alleged fix from previous game crashes?!?!?
I don't know what the trend was prior to the patch, I bought the game yesterday (Nov. 7th). I spent about 2 hours in character creation, and the rest of the gameplay has been nothing but crashes.

I compared my specs to the lowest recommended specs, and there's no reason I shouldn't be able to run this game on my PC. I've tried lowering all graphics to their lowest, tried windowed and borderless modes, tried everything. Still crashes.

I don't know if anyone else has recommendations, but I really just wanted to know if anyone else is having these issues. I can't seem to play more than 10 minutes without the game having a mental breakdown and crashing.

I currently have the same problem. The game freezes on the loading screen, then either turning off or restarts my entire computer. I tried deleting the entire contents of the "shader cache" folder and I still have this problem. I will add that before the patch, deleting the contents of the aforementioned folder helped immediately. Now I am currently waiting for someone to find another way or for next patch.

have you try´d to dele the shader cache from your gpu? so not in the games folder. rather in your gpu´s
dont find how it works on amd but for nvdia it should be:
"- Open the NVIDIA control panel
- Go to Manage 3D Settings
- Turn OFF Shader Cache
- Save and apply changes
- Reboot your PC
- After the PC boots, open the Run dialog box or File Explorer
- Type the following environment variable into the Run dialog box or the File Explorer address bar and hit Enter: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local
- At the location, find and open the "NVIDIA" folder
- In the folder, find and open both the "DXCache" and the "GLCache" folder and delete all the items in the folders
- Next, go back to the "Local" folder
- Now, at that location, find and open the "NVIDIA Corporation" folder
- In the folder, find and open the "NV_Cache" folder and delete the contents of the folder
- Exit File Explorer
- Now, go back to the NVIDIA control panel and turn on Shader Cache (set to driver standard)
- Restart your PC"

Things that worked for me (still very occasionally will crash, but starts with no issues):
* updating bios
* verifying integrity of game files
* deleting shader cache
* opening the game through GeForce Experience

Have installed the new Patch and no problems so far. 3 Hours played and travel multiple times to the Lighthouse and no Crash.

Maybe it have something to do how you Load/Continue the Game.
I make somtimes and when i exit the Game a Manual Save.
When i start the Game i load everytime my last Manual Save and i never use Continue.

Or maybe the Problem is DLSS/FSR and/or RayTracing
I play in Nativ 1080p without any Upscaler like DLSS and without RayTracing.
