It's a dwarven thaig introduced in first game, every culture in fantasy game needs to be based on some culture from real life. For example in lord of the rings, dwarves are based on old norse, both in looks and their writing, elves with their long hair and robes, are based on ancient chinese, but their language Quenya is a mix of latin and other languages.
So yes - you might found some references to some cultures in real life, it's nothing wrong, it's a trait of proper fantasy world building.
