I mean they laid off a bunch of people last year. EA spun off swtor to its own studio. They’ve consolidated the DA team into the Mass Effect team to work on ME5. Their last two releases (this and the Legendary Collection) were polished DLC-free, microtransaction free, single-player games.

Compared to the Anthem and Andromeda days, I’ll take this BioWare every time.

True and based.

Shouldn't you be on the Bioware forums saying this instead? This is specifically for DA:TV.

Apprently the writer for Veilguard is also going to write for the new Mass Effect game.

So... They're that.

I don't think they're gonna be great again anytime soon...

THE writer? These games have teams of writers. I imagine DAV had more writers than most games b/c they restarted development 3 times. Sounds like more pearl clutching.

Let me rephrase

The lead writer.
Oh, that’s good then. They didn’t put whoever was running the companion dialog writers in charge of anything. The companion dialog needs some work. It’s DA:II levels of undercooked for several of them. The actual main story is fine. Certainly an improvement from whatever passed for writing on Andromeda.

Thank God, they're still hope. This also happened with Rocksteady, they left and are currently making there own game.
Is this a deleted comment?, where is the original. No matter, these guys are on Threads, and they are active on Threads, so unless they are actively being sponsored by Zuckerberg, i wouldn't hold my breath here.

Hmm well I'm not that into Bioware and if this does pull the woke move then it's automatically a no buy for me
Well it's the woke lead writer from DA:O, so yeah, it's gonna be woke. (That's a good thing)

David Gaider? Yeah can't say I am a huge fan of his writing and I am not seeing anything here beyond the off brand Mass Effect mom would say we have at home.

I mean there is always a chance it could be good but there really isn't much to go with in a pre-rendered trailer and honestly what little I do see does not look particularly good.
LOL, how quickly the antiwoke turn against a game the moment someone calls it woke.

You don't have to call something woke when the game literally pushes the woke is the writer.
