Anyone else disappointed in Tevinter?

You know, I was looking forward to coming to Tevinter. This is the mage seat of power. Mages aren't persecuted, they are in charge. And I was so looking forward to very serious storylines about all the intricacies about the magisters in Tevinter.

And the Divine in this chantry is always a man, and I was interested in discovering the real reasons behind that (beyond Dorian's "that's just the way it always is like in the south it's always a woman"). There's got to be more to it.

And I feel REALLY let down at there being Zero chantry content, and almost no interactions with the Magisters in Tevinter. I focused on all Neve's quests specifically because I wanted to spend time in Minrathous and learn everything about it, but in the end we don't even know WHY she was chasing some of the folks she was. Or anything really. It was just, basically, a really watered down Kirkwall with no resolution to any of the storylines.

Gosh, I'm so beyond disappointed.

Yup, no blood magic rituals sacrificing dozens of slaves to maybe cure a magister's baldness :(

I also didn't expect tevinter most defining feature to be a gigantic cannon out of dystopian sci-fi story.
Even ignoring the political talk, they it's like they tried to distance themselves from the lore as much as possible. Or worse they couldn't be bothered to document themselves on the lore and just read the TLDR version instead

And what's with all the Ferelden dogs about the place? Tevinters hate Fereldens and their dogs!
