Taash' writer has 19 years of Bioware experience
And has been a major writer for a majority of the beloved franchises: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trick_Weekes

I am tired of these toxic anti-woke man babies. They are a bunch of propagandized idiots parroting the grifters, on the path of radicalization. Step away from the computer for a week or two. The internet is not real life. Read a damn book ffs.

How do we know this person wrote that character?

Okay, some here may interpret this as offensive, but is Trick Weekes and Karin Weekes the same person?
Unless they are not, they vere not credited in any game until now. If they are Karin Weeks, then they were text editor for many years.

Sounds like it may be time to polish the resume or maybe look for a different career.

Rabbit...we already know who you and and what you're trying to do here. It's just a bad look a this point. Let it go.
I mean, people keep saying "oh bioware fired the good writers" or whatever, but that's not true at all.

I guess it's possible for some people to get worse at their jobs as time goes on. No idea what to say.

Based on what I've seen and from what we're hearing about sales, consumers would beg to differ.

Also if it is true about the text editor part... Speaks for itself.

Spouse of Trick.
Okay, but why is Trick's spouse credited and Trick isn't if Trick is a writer for 19 years on these games and it's arguably a bigger position than editor?

Trick Weekes was formerly credited under the name Patrick Weekes, before coming out as non-binary in their own life and changing their name.

Trick seems to have worked as lead writer only from Inquisition DLCs onwards, after Gaider left. Veilguard is the first full game release with Trick as lead writer, other games, only lesser roles. Notably, as "senior writer", appears only in Mass Effect 3. And I left that game unfinished precisely because of the horrible writing.

That is a fantastic question. I have no idea. We know Trick wrote Taash because they have talked about the character and development prior to release. If your looking at IMDB or something equivalent; information may still be coming together.
Research isn't hard. Like, it's amazingly easy.

I mean if this is the best you can do after 19 years its time to find another line of work. How does this individual still have a job? I think 90% of the steam forums could have written a better character than this.

I can see him or them as it may me now, as a lead writer for specifically Trespasser DLC and Jaws DLC for DA:I. Otherwise never wrote for DA games, but has a spouse that is clearly the editor since DA:O.

PS: I don't care about how many wiki links you have, they aren't in the credits, they are uncredited contributor, at which point I don't really care, as brutal as that may be.

So he's only written for DAI and DAV in the DA franchise. And he's only been a Lead for the Inquisition DLC's and Veilguard. He's a Cali native... oof that speaks volumes. Sounds like he went off the deep end... California will do that to ya.

Oh sorry he's now living in Canada. Yep, still the same level of crazy.
