Im aware what the dodge button is at base, but it just refuses to work. it doesnt dodge. It hasnt done it once so far in 4hrs of gameplay the Hipfire and Dodge buttons just havent worked.
Well sidestep/dodge whatever its called, my character doesnt do anything when I hit the dodge button, nor hipfire button. They stand there spacing out into space. whether I move while pressing it, or not. whether in combat or not. they just dont do what the button says they should be doing
I use a Razer Tartarus Pro, a Keypad so I guess it would classify as Keyboard & Mouse
No, No controller plugged in.
yes. I rebound it to Mouse 4, Ive tried it with base Space. Ive tried it with a dozen other Buttons, nothing works
have you rebind it for that class? the rebinds are only for the class you where playing at the time you rebind them. for example if you rebind jump to space an you played a warrior, the mage still have F as jump
yes.. and I think I found the issue.. apparently my Tartarus Pro just doesnt work. because its Analog buttons, the game refuses to let Dodge or Hipfire work. if I unplug it, it works fine.
In short, this game just became genuinely Unplayable for me unless I dont use what Im used to using and use a Keyboard instead... Such terrible idea.. Guess im refunding this trash
So I can play it, just have to unplug my other Tartarus.
Its such a Dumb problem.. you would think a AAA game wouldnt have.. ive never seen or experienced this beofre in the history of me owning this setup for Years now..
I Just google about it (since i dosent know what it even is) and i think its considered as a gamepad but not shure, i wouldn´t even know how to use it
for the thumbstick, the only solution I found was rebinding it to WASD in Synapse, since the Arrow keys are hard bound to other things in game(just one of many issues the game has).
I didnt try messing around much with the Thumbstick since I often just use it as a Dpad for abilities instead.
This makes it so dodging now works, but with a weird side effect. The camera angle basically looks straight up. You have to heavy drag your mouse to try and center it.
It unfortunately seems that certain buttons are hard coded in the game to certain effects. But I was able to rebind Tab, ALT, Shift and Ctrl just fine personally.
you could be running into the same issue where the Game just doesnt read the Tartarus as a Keypad. It seems to read it as a Limbo somewhere between a Controller and a Keyboard, which makes the game really not like making it work.
And to my knowledge, there is no Official fix. its mostly just luck and trying everything.
It could also be Synapse beta, if you are using that... perhaps try Synapse 3? I know Ive had games,, like Total War Warhammer 3, that just dont like New Synapse Beta.
