What Mage builds are you enjoying?

I'm only level 15 but enjoying Frost Nova, Chain Lightning stuff. Cant decide on staff or orb/knife - this game seems a lot more close-quarters combat so ranged doesnt seem to do well (I still don't have a tank companion yet so that's part of the issue.)

What Mage builds are you enjoying?

Pure Dagger&Orb so far... I still use the starting Barrage spell together with the Shock and Jumpback+Shock, works well so far. Combind with the Assasin and his Detonater it does good damage and seems to slow (or it is Neve's part^^).

Only the 15 level higher Champion was something to skip so far :D

I play Chain Lightning and Tempest and moving toward spellblade. I like it a lot. I switch between the staff and the orb/knife a lot because I like them both. But I think my orb/knife is stronger.

Spellblade, Tempest focus, Pure electric, with Duration/Electric boosting items/skills. Ballaria with Time slow and Harding with Adrenaline Rush gives me unlimited Tempest. Timeworn Magesknife (avoid full rarity) gives me constant healing with Tempest procing Arcane bombs. This build feels really hard to die in as I CC everyone close and explode them with charged heavy swings of knife. Time Slow is a insane Dps moment with Tempest.
