Setting aside what exactly the “gameplay of DA” is, given that each iteration has been markedly different from the last…
Folks like us (i.e. me, cause by definition I’m a folk like us) have played every DA game several times over.
Folks like us (i.e. me again) would have grudgingly played Veilguard on day one even if it looked exactly like, and had the janky combat of, DA:O, or was a forgetrable live service game like Anthem. Because I love this series way too much not to know how the story ends.
Folks like us (hey, guess who!) are frickin’ thrilled that instead of phoning it in, it looks like Bioware took their time and created the best game they could think of. Because it means we will love this game instead of tolerating it, and will get Mass Effect 5 and maybe more DA in the future.
considering its game play was vastly different to origins im starting to think you didnt play it at all, and holy christ you clearly havent watched the trailers or even listened to a thing CAUSE ITS NOT OPEN WORLD by the gods watch dont rage just watch next time.
and cool dont buy it, but dont be that guy/gal who no one wants to talk to ranting and raving how if you like something your not a true fan.
go for it but all that does is show i was right and you ran away cause you've got jack, so go ahead i could use the laugh.
I never once used the tactical camera/pause in any of my DA:I playthroughs. Wait, I tell a lie. I had to turn it on (and immediately off again) in a tutorial. I’d wager good money the same is true for a majority of players.
funny your certainly claiming yours does, and will do good for me ie a long term fan.
DA:O was not open world it was a linear designed map system, an open world is closer to inquisition or red dead 2 huge open areas that you freely explore.
yes you travelled in between them but it wasn't open, one couldnt visit all the areas between only select few spots.
honestly it wasnt all that differant to da2s only it had more variety.
