No white companions?

It's very strange to me, that we only have one white human companion and he's an old guy. We got a dwarf, a black elf, a qunari woman, an arab man, an asian elf, a black woman and the old white man. I get diversity is the new thing in the Western world but where's the diversity if there are no white companions? (Apart from the old guy, I suppose.)

But he's right about the elves being white. Trying to make them Asian or Black is culturally insensitive. They're part of North Germanic mythology which is...

Elves are not Asian or African, they're part of European heritage, mythology and have been a certain way for hundreds of years. Why you're trying to rewrite history with your American religion?

Nobody complained when Jade Empire was made about it being full Chinese characters. I didn't want representation because it was obviously not my setting, it was Chinese setting.

cause he's a human with pointy ears coded to resemble African ethnicity, there's a difference between Davrin and the design of Cillian and Adaia who are black but aren't similarly coded, same deal with Bellara.

you can trace back these awful designs with Sera whose similarly just a human with pointy ears, we had a good thing going on in DA2 with the Elves and Qunari, what happened? oh right, we need these species to just be humans with pointy ears, how boring.

which is literally what is happening with these designs, they want Africans and Asians in the roster, but instead of making them human they've sacrificed the Elven designs to resemble these ethnicity.

I mean the jawline differs from human norm on Solas, but that is true to Bellara and Davrin too. Sera looks more like the elves in
DA2 than Solas, so in a way more elven.
