Is this supposed to be dragon age 4??? I thought Dragon Age 4 was supposed to be about the wolf and solaris guy????? Why does this look like an mmo too?

It is Dragon Age 4. Solas will still feature prominently, just not as the main villain. This is a singleplayer game.

seems like they changed title because more companion focused and not nec about solas.

which sort of seems weird though as only have 7 companion choices?????

The "mmo" style comment came about because all the picks seemed to be with 3 characters, though see 4 in one screen shot. But ya, it says "single player" but seems like it was designed for an mmo expansion from the shots i've seen.

The style's certainly changed, but that's been the case with every sequel so far.
Yes there are 7 companions this time. Less companions hopefully means more time spent on fleshing out each one.

There is a huge 15 page IGN article that explains many things about the game OP if you are interested in learning more about the game. The game as stated by skullymex above is completely single player. there is no multiplayer. Also, the game will be playable completely offline with no EA connection or linking required. That was confirmed by the developers.

ya, I've been reading up.

I'm actually getting excited.

They've seemed like they might have gone back more to what made Dragon Age Origins and Mass Effect great in that it's more story/mission based settings.

The still shots don't do the game justice. the actual game footage gives off a pretty cool look/feel to it.

Lol hardly, people really be getting a hard on for BG3. DA: Origins is better than BG3 lol.

I hope this game makes sense story wise. They finished DA: Inquisition with one hell of a cliffhanger. The combat looks more like Inquisition which was dumbed down for console.

Baldurs gate 3 come nowhere near balders gate one or two. It looks pretty but its has alot less classes, alot less choices, alot less story, alot less game play mechanics and so on. It does have the best character creation but thats about it and only for looks. Its 150 gigabytes of generic prettiness. Pathfinders, pillars of eternity, solasta and the balders gate one and two do everything better except for graphics and some world design. Pathfinders wrath of the righteous has 15 main classes and 7 to 9 subclasses and there all pretty well thought out.
Balders gate 3 is in general a lackluster experience. But whatever floats your boat.
Almost any RPG is better.
