I ve noticed That DAO and DLC, DA2, DAI went on sale and here is my issue with DAV
All 3 titles are very little money right now so I'm like : awesome. I can just replay the games to prepare for new DA and upload the saves into the Dragon Age keep. I will simulate 1st try honor run and decisions are pernament with no reloading unless it's a bug or crush on a nightmare mode, all that just to pay my respect to the game. Buuut here is a little trouble that I encountered. It doesn't connect to the DA keep and after little research I find it that they shut down the servers. I dont have the problem with that itself but I do want my little to no consequence story made decisions with love interest, etc... to be stored and continued to the next game. I know I can manually import one game save after another with DLC till DAI(is that true btw? Just to confirm). Here is my question: AM I limited only to custom recreation story on DA Keep and screwed on my effort to replay it honor mode ? Are my custom characters gone? Are Da2, inquisition servers still up? Please don't tell me that my playthrugh is for nothing and DAI won't transfer older game files into it without servers/internet and the, will new DA continue the story?

Okay. So, here's what they've said.

The game opens with a 'Previously, on Dragon Age' segment where you input all the relevant story decisions into the game. You also get a character creator for the Inquisitor in this game, so when they show up, they'll appear as they did in your old Inquisition save.

Keep is not compatible with this game.

The decisions you make from previous games is now a Tarot Card system built into the new game. You enter your decisions directly in game now with this game. this is actually good because the game is completely playable offline. There is also no EA connection required. This new system to input choices is a good decision.

I don't know if it is necessarily a good decision because you will get to write the story as you see fit, Instead of it being consequence driven of past titles.(I think it would make replay value of previous titles go up and increase worth of time investment and to refresh the whole experience, especially when those are on sale right now) also I imagine that not a whole lot will be passed over to the new DA. The custom charcters appearances will not be imported and I imagine that whatever will be in card tarrot system will be shallow and it ll bring very little to alter the gameplay of new DA addition. I was hoping for this kind of reward for playing every title. To have and interesting story build up that changes as you complete the previous titles. Besides the saves could be imported manually or be uploaded to the Dragon Age keep at will. I dont see it as much of a hindrance as long as it is not forced to start the game.
