Convince me to buy this game

I am a huge DA fan but the writing has been on the decline for some time now and this looks brutal. Convince me its worth buying.

Character creator looks very extensive. You'll duke it out with at least two elven gods. You'll get to travel all over Thedas. The grey warden in your party has a griffon. There's a hot grandpa you can f-ck. Idk man what else do you want.

is it thou?Origins was nicely written, DA2 was sh1t and Inquisition was pretty good. So it's more like a sinusoide rather than a constant decline ;)

Honestly, we do not know enough about all the aspects of the game to make a full, informed decision.

I at least need to see more advanced combat and see how the skills actually work and if we can switch our loadouts freely during combat without a global cooldown (like in Andromeda).

If it’s just for the companions, then It would be more of a challenge to be convinced to buy. None of them are really appealing. Their designs are meh. I don’t even want to play with Taash…

Miss the fem fatales like Morrigan/Leliana/Isabela…

Leliana, a femme fatale ? The nun that believes she talked to God ? That's doing it for you huh ?

While crazy, she was attractive, plus she was a spy/assassin all while putting up the nun act. Sometimes you just gotta love crazy.

Plus she is better designed than all the new characters in Veilguard.

If you think the nun thing was an act, you did not understand her character. Her faith is what drives her, first to help her recover from what her ex Marjolaine (an actual femme fatale) did to her, but it stays for the rest of her life.
She likes the intrigue and collecting secrets and does not deny it, but at the end of the day she's of the Chantry. Even as a spymaster she's Sister Nightingale.
And she never uses seduction as a part of her arsenal, which is a requirement for saying a character is a femme fatale.

Leliana has some dialogue in Origins, when discussing her background as a bard/spy, about having learned how to seduce others, and brags that she was quite good at it. Here you go:

That's fair, though I was always under the impression she wasn't far removed from that life, even if recently devoted to the Chantry. Given that she's not exactly chaste (and will have a threesome with the Warden and Isabella under the right circumstances) I never thought her to be above seducing others if she needed to.

I say do not let anyone else try to decide for you what you should buy.

That said, if you liked Inquisition and want to experience a continuation of Solas story with appearance of your own inquisitor you get to recreate for this game and the fact we will see some other characters from previous games make appearance as per what devs said in the Q and A they had, then I think you may like this.

But, go online as I have and see all the news. there is a lot of information about the story, game play, character creator, the classes and skills, the companions, the huge skill trees, and this information is easily available online to look at.

Also, IGN did a 15 page article on Dragon Age The veilguard that has huge amounts of information about the game. There is going to be much more revealed as well per the devs.

Research the game and decide for yourself. I have decided I love the fact Solas story is continuing and we get to fight blighted Elven Gods, so I am absolutely playing this game. That is my choice and you need to make your choice of if you like what you see and would like to play. No one can decide for you.

just wait for deep discount, this game will flop, so quick deep discount is inevitable, just look at the monster design, both darkspawn and undead have googly eyes instead of being scary meanwhile the demons look like an alien wearing glowing armillary sash.
