The Warden can be not white, too.
Sten and Shale are ethnically ambiguous, especially since the Dwarf Inquisitor is a direct relative of her and can be any ethnicity you choose.
I will say, I don't understand why the Warden spares Zevran either. Saying 'I hate crimed him' is...a little much, but in my initial playthrough, I also killed him.
