No origin or ea play?
Wait, this doesn't have EAplay or origin or whatever EA storefront thing that EA likes to put into its games... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, count me suddenly interested in this.

That is what also caught my eye. I do not think you need to log into anything to play it. Heck yeah now I am more interested in the game.

Yeah, its like EA can learn or something. Which is both creepy and good for games of theirs that look interesting.

EA posts requirements way later, like Denuvo a few days after launch with the DS remake.
While annoying, denuvo should be expected from any big budget game. But, does the DS remake need any kind of ea app or anything?

Totally hilarious

This game will require EA app, account creation and login (launcher and account-based DRM) also Denuvo DRM.

Just wait till release, big corpo likes to hide such info till few days before releasing the game and then boom!! DRM warnings at store page, anyways, people preordering deserve such thing.
Then I see it and don't buy it. That was easy.

Sounds like they are indeed making it so you can entirely play the game off line and won't require any account linking.

It doesn't mean anything if there's Denuvo needing to call home once a week or less, depending on how it's implemented.
If you play a big budget release as I said before, expect denovo. Welcome to gaming.

EA and Ubisoft are known to change store page requirements & warnings weeks or days before pre-orders and release.

This game will definetly have EA app drm, account creation and login (account-based DRM) and high chance of adding Denuvo anti-tamper DRM.

Name any recent EA or Ubisoft game that doesn't require launcher and account.
Command and Conquer remaster didn't.

On the website it clearly states you can play offline and no internet is required. I dont care about Denuvo at all but i am very happy the game is single player, no microtransactions, and can be played offline. The devs did a Q&A where they answered many questions about the game and being able to play offline is huge for me. Hardly any games have offline play now. I mean even all the newer playstation games want everyone to log into a PSN account online for their games. So Bioware and EA making this totally playable offline is a very very nice change for once.

Well ms. "I don't care about Denuvo." If there is Denuvo, you won't be able to play offline forever. As I mentioned in my post.
So, you can't do that anyway, if you uninstall a game and you aren't online, you can't reinstall it. At some point you have to be connected, and we still don't even have confirmation that Denovo will be in the game, I mean I would expect it, but calm your tits.

Because you are whining about something that isn't confirmed yet (despite being in pretty much every single big budget game), in a thread that is about them appearing to not be putting EA app or origin in the game requirements. Not to mention you seem to have reading comprehension issues.

I've already heard this excuse "because one company can do it we can do it as well" You did mention you can play the game "completely offline" assuming as well. it's just you changing the goal post "Every big budget game uses Denuvo" then comparing installing a game needing an online connectivity.
There is that reading comprehension issue again. You do realize there are multiple forms of Denuvo, not just the kind that has to phone home all the time. Anyway, I was quoting the game director who said in an interview "She did, however, reiterate that it won’t have any microtransactions, battle passes, or online requirements."

Hmm, no mention of the EA app requirement that this thread is "All" about, which you are complaining about. Reading comprehension doesn't apply there now? You want to believe him that's cool, considering theirs no mention of Denuvo I'm not holding my breath seems more targeted at console players with those quotes.
Its in the title of the thread, but I called it Origin since it used to be known as Origin, now I'm not sure what its called, and I can't be asked to look it up. Those quotes are definitely targeted to pc gamers, cause no one whines like pc players and its a deliberate response to the Sony account fiasco with Helldivers 2.

Having to connect to a server, even if very infrequently, still means it isn't an offline title. Denuvo equates to an online requirement.

If an EA employee said that the game doesn't require an online component then they were either misinformed, lying, or this game will not have Denuvo nor require Steam.
Then go whine to the game director.

Lack of EA bloatware means the execs think the game will flop. If they thought there would be a huge demand they would stuff it full of micro transactions and wrap the product in their bloatware

Interesting point. They could be hoping the game will flop or be pirated to oblivion then they can close bioware with less backlash.
