Remake the game

It's not too late. Delay the game for a year. Fire your writers and decision makers.
Hire a competent writer & game directer. For sure something can be salvaged - not into a great game, but at least into a decent game.

If you are not doing it your Studio will go under. It will be your 3. flop in a row (Andromeda, Anthem, this).

They won’t remake the game. Hope this game appeals to their new modern audiences so BioWare can survive. Just wish they don’t ruin the ME by doing the same ♥♥♥♥.

That's not how game dev works. It'll still take at least 3 years, if they're have to do stuff frm scratch and by that time the shareholders, nor EA will be happy.

Have you seen the trailer and the reactions to it? Its Homeworld 3 / Dawn Of War 3 (as examples) all over agian.

have you considered that the trailer might not be indicative of the sort of the thing the game is going for? and that a bad trailer doesn't need to equal scrapping the entire game?

We can't say much about the writing by now (can we?) - but the art style definately isn't Dragon Age. Even if we turn a blind eye on Dragon Age 2 & 3 (DA:Origin had the best art style) this comes nowhere near the theme.

I've to agree with rock paper shotgun - it's like a Fortnite heist movie.

No idea how they would fix that with the year you'd give them. I very much doubt this can be salvaged. Looks like a DoW III release incoming. Launch -> dead.

I'm not too hopeful about this game at the moment, but....all we got was a short rapid-fire character intro trailer. Kind of hard to say the entire game needs to be rewritten because of that. Going to reserve judgment for later.

Agreed, very likely they will be doing the same! BioWare is just a name /shell now, like a person without a soul.
