I do think it's fair to judge teaser trailers. Their marketing department is cringe. I don't think that means it will 100% be a bad game, but that was 100% a terrible teaser, especially compared to previous games.

The 2009 teaser still holds up today. It's so fun, and although I certainly prefer the in-game models for the characters, it's fine. Captures the tone of the game well enough.
The Inquisition trailer was much more similar to what they released today.

It's corny, but in its defense it was the early 2010s which was a very corny era for gaming promotional material. Doesn't hold up today, but for the era it was well received.
As for DA2...well I like to pretend it didn't happen but the trailer isn't bad for its time either.
I think it's unfortunate that there are so many younger millennials in the gaming industry that refuse to let the early 2010s era die. It's time to move on from excessive bad puns, sarcasm, and one-liners. This is not a Marvel movie. They need to take off the skinny jeans, sell their Funko pops, and take a writing class. It's time for us to enter a new era.
We should not have a teaser trailer that's virtually identical to what they put out a decade ago.
I feel like Bioware is to scared to leave their golden era but is at the same time trying to put out a modern trailer... and failing. I find the background music for dai really funny though but it has aged like milk and Datv's trailer is them putting out spoiled milk and hoping it will have the same affect it did ten years ago. Also the dao trailers are epic but still are a product of their time. I feel like the datv's trailer is a bit better than dai but still not what we should have gotten after ten years.
