Review (Demo)
Before anything else, I played the game on a Mac M1, so your experience may differ from mine. Also, be aware that any negative criticism of this post is purely constructive.

This game has really decent pixel art, great scenarios and amazing cutscenes. Can't say much about the characters, but at least for me, Wichiwi stood out in this demo. The bosses are tough, and the ranking challenges are addictive. The (Focus) mechanic is a creative way of doing damage to bosses, combined with the perfect dodge (not entirely accurate or just a skill issue) that is extremely satisfying.

At least on my playthrough, I found some bugs and things I would recommend to polish a bit, starting with the initial scene. The phrases above the hands could be a little more unique, I mean, there are like three or four phrases that keep repeating during the entire path. The MC movement feels kinda off, I think the way she turns around is too rough, maybe adding some in-between animations could make it feel more fluid.

For the bugs, I found two of them. The first one is the illumination/lightning source of some objects like lanterns and fireplaces, constantly flicking a big blank ball around them, what is clearly not supposed to happen. The other one, I'm not entirely sure if it's a bug, but is certainly something that has to be worked on. While on the cutscenes of the mysterious character covered by the darkness, the track in the background is not perfectly looping, it has in fact a time gap. And about the voice of the character herself, it sounds strange, like it's cut at the end, it should have a reverb effect.

Sometimes, even if we are close to an interactable item or character, the button does not appear on the screen to be pressed. The boss cutscenes shouldn't repeat when replaying the boss fight after dying (don't take these two so seriously, they're just preferences of mine).

I know I pointed out a lot of negative things, but this game looks promising and I'm really hyped for the release, so don't rush it, take your time with the development.

Ps: The Guardian Faye is an absolute banger of a boss.

yea the music for that boss what DOPE... id have to agree with when you die or restart the fight it would be so much nicer if you were just at the fight after the load screen instead of haveing to skip. especially since most will be doing A LOT of dieing lol.

Game looks awesome, but I didn't noticed the music going that hard on bosses, maybe because I was too focused on the fight lol

this game is so serious deal Vs big 2D "dark souls games", like Ender Lilies. The combat is just pure perfection, and this red loli is so fun!
There's always one. -_______-
