Much appreciated in advance.
Did you choose the same solid color in the Virtual Desktop settings on the Quest?
Virtual Desktop with SteamVR.
Any sugestions? TIA
EDIT and UPDATE: Managed to solve it. It was the 'Simularity' slider in Virtual Desktop. corrected to a 20% sweetspot. Now I understand what that control can do :-)
Am I supposed to be running Virtual Desktop from Steam? or from my Quest 3?
- On the Quest: You need the Virtual Desktop app. Using this app, you select the passthrough color on the Quest.
- On the PC: You need the Virtual Desktop Streamer, which you can download from their website: https://www.vrdesktop.net/
When all is up and running, make sure you choose "Use Solid Color" on the Camera Setup page of Reality Mixer. Choose the same color as you chose in the app on the Quest.Probably a question for VD page...
It's a big disappointment that "Virtual Desktop" is necessary for this. This should have been pointed out before purchasing!
