The similarities between Brigandine Forsena/Grand Edition and Brigandine Runeresia.
Not long ago, I wrote a review after finally trying to play my favorite game (3 years late). My review was about gratitude and several elements that I felt had similarities with Old Brigandine.

Starting with the Kingdom of Justice Norzaleo!

Norzaleo Kingdom (Brigandine of Justice)
The resemblance to Rubino with Lance, a prince who replaces his father in leading the country, and the growth status that both princes have. It's amazing. I feel Rubino deserves the title of the strongest ruler (end game) held by Lance!

United Islands of Mirelva (Brigandine of Ego)
Do you miss Mad Tyrant Dryst? Well, let our crazy king stay on his throne without anyone being able to replace him. Stella Hamett is a descendant of the legendary pirate Captain Hammett. Stella's spontaneous and wild nature as a pirate, in my opinion, is a more "sane" version of the ruler from the Southeast.

Shinobi Tribe (Brigandine of Freedom)
A territory that is still very small and has not become a nation in the land of Runeresia. Shinobi Magic! Extremely dangerous magic highly regarded by all Runeresian knights. Speaking of magic, of course, the first thing that comes to mind is the silent wise king Cai! Caerleon was also called the "Magic Kingdom" in the old Brigandine version. Coincidence?
Well, from here, my theory might be a bit off track?

Mana Saleesia Theocracy (Brigandine of Sanctity)
Mana Saleesia is a country that has a "Mana Spring" said to be the birthplace of the 5 Mana Stones. Mana Saleesia is a religious country with similarities to Leonia, known as a religious country. But unlike Queen Lyonesse, who is full of love, Rudo Marco is an extremist who is willing to do cruel things to spread his religious teachings.

Republic of Guimoule (Brigandine of Glory)
What haven't we mentioned? Of course, Vaynard the White Wolf! Does the Republic of Guimoule have similarities to Norgard? I'm not sure! The ruler of the Republic of Guimoule (Eliza Uzala) and the ruler of the Holy Gustava Empire (Tim Gustav) strongly remind me of Vaynard! Please ponder it yourselves! In addition, the Republic of Guimoule has one of the most respected magicians in Runeresia, Grand Warlock Mu'ah. By the way, in Runeresia, there are 2 most respected magicians, Mu'ah and Jiu from Norzaleo. Why didn't they make one of the generals in the Shinobi Tribe famous and feared as a magician too? One of the things that makes me wonder! Considering that, in the Old Brigandine, there was the same rivalry between the strongest magicians named Cai from Caerleon and Gish from Esgaress Empire.

Holy Gustava Empire (no Brigandine)
At first, I thought this country was definitely the "villain" in Brigandine: Runeresia. But after completing it, I didn't feel that way. There is indeed a similarity in that initially, some of the founders of the Holy Gustava Empire came from Norzaleo. It's similar to the story where Esgaress Empire used to be Almekia. However, the "villain" label is more fitting for Rudo Marco of Mana Saleesia Theocracy. I hate that guy. (both story and one-hit-kill skill he possessed)

Well that's it. What did you guys think?

Mana Salessia is pretty much this game's Esgares Empire. Very powerful leader unit, and a large chunk of territory smack in the middle of the map. Rudo is hella based, I like him even better than Zemekis. Mana Salessia is my top pick for the factions in this game.

I had Rudo defending and attacking as a single unit (including a few monsters), and he can destroy any and all. He's that powerful right out of the gate. Even though other units can be made that powerful eventually.

There is only 1 individual fit to be God Emperor of Runesaria, and that's Rudo Marco.

My first encounter with Rudo was when he killed my level 20 Fenrir with a single slash. I will always hate him for that. :steamsad:
