Game crashes after changing graphics settings

I've encountered a problem after changing some of my settings.

I've changed some stuff, from TAA to FXAA, lowered the render quality, changed some very high settings to just high and now when i try to play the game again it crashes after just starting up... not even giving me a chance to go and fix it now

I always get a window popup saying "game has crashed and will close now"

I already played a bit, got far enough to where i don't wanna really replay everything i did just because i pressed some buttons that the game didn't like me for, thing is the game reset all of my settings for some reason after booting it up again.

If there is a settings file somewhere in the games folder i'd like to know so that i can play around with them (if that's possible) and see what's causing this so that i can avoid making this bug happen again, or see if there's any other way of solving this issue?

While I don't exactly understand the precise issue, I can tell there is a fix for it. :)
Press Win + R
Type %appdata%
Press enter
Go to \AppData\Local\Akimbot\Saved
Delete the \Config folder
Go to the SaveGames folder
Delete settingsDev.sav
Launch the game, your video settings are not reset to 0

Do NOT delete saveGame1, as this is your in-game progress. If you ever delete it, it's ok, Steam has a back-up on the cloud, but you probably don't wanna take the risk

Let me know how that goes :)

How can I change the graphics settings without getting into the game?

I changed my settings and messed up when accepting, this causes my game to crash over and over and over as soon as I get to the main menu of the game.

I know it works fine if the settings aren't improperly set but yeah, I can see how the game not having some sort of system to default the settings after detecting a crash being a problem.

You can reset your settings by deleting the settingsDev1.sav file in your \AppData\Local\Akimbot\Saved\SaveGames\ folder. Then restart the game.

As I can't reproduce this error myself, would you be able to help me sorting it out? Could you please join the Discord and we try to reproduce the steps to GET this error, so I can fix it?

For those of you crashing. Don't enable NVIDIA Frame Gen. At least not enough they add some additional checks in code.
