Camera zoom - Super Ultrawide
So I have a Samsung Odyssey G9 super ultrawide monitor. I played the demo and it was fine, convinced me to purchase the full game even.

However, in the full game my camera is WAY too zoomed in, to the point that I can only see the top of my character's head.

I scoured the options for any setting that might correct this issue, and even tried changing to full screen and lowering resolution, but no solution found. I only have two resolution options in full screen, and both present the same issue.

I switched the game to windowed mode, where the max resolution was 1920x1080 and that puts the camera at a reasonable distance, where I can actually see the entirety of my character. However playing in a 1920x1080 window on a 5120x1440 monitor is FAR from ideal.

What changed from the demo to the full version that allowed this issue to occur? And is there a solution that I can reasonably implement myself, like a configuration file edit?

If I can't find a working solution, I'll have to refund the game, unfortunately.

Hm... that's not working for me... :/

I can put it into full screen with the windowed resolution by hitting Alt+Enter, and that does fill the screen, but it results in the image stretching horizontally to fill the screen.

Trying to change it to Fullscreen or Windowed Fullscreen in the options menu results in the original problem.

Did you do anything else in particular when this worked for you? The small details might matter.

Appreciate the reply anyway, thanks.

Yeah this sadly does not work. Hopefully a fix will come for 32:9 resolution.

It's definitely possible to fix this - my mate has the same monitor (its beautiful by the way, I'm very envious). I was playing on it the other day and no issues with being zoomed in when playing full screen at the 32:9 aspect ratio. What settings have you tried changing? I'll check with him next time I'm over and see what settings he uses. I know he has a 4060 GPU if that makes any difference.

Just checked and can confirm the game is now running proper in 32:9.
Thanks for the quick work on this!

Hmmm...
G9 Neo here.
Tried to play at 7680×2160.
Can see only the character's head. 5120x1440 is the same.
Non-ultra-wide resolutions show the whole character, but they are stretched, naturally.
Did any1 find a fix for this?

I have tried everything here and am still stuck with a zoomed-in view (just the character head barely poking out of the bottom of the screen). Any chance the Dev team has come up with a solution? Otherwise I will unfortunately be refunding the game :/

I have now bought the Samsung G9 myself, and don't have scaling issues - I can clearly see the entire character from head to toe. There is about an inch of screen space below the characters feet, and the top of the characters head is only a couple of inches above that, so he only takes up about 25% the vertical height of the screen. I have no issues so here is my setup for reference in case any of your settings differ:

Oh and I am running it on a MSI nVidia 2080 ti, and Intel i9-990K cpu for what its worth. If you have an AMD graphics card I don't know where the equivalent settings would be)
