Big spoilers beware!

I have just completed the game and absolutely loved it. However, I feel as though the game has some secrets that I still have not found.

1. Deemed Worthy: through a couple hidden doors in the church you will be met with an eye on the wall. Initially it will deem you 'not worthy' however if you return later in the game (probably after completing some bosses) the eye will deem you 'worthy' and you will be teleported to a never ending dark room. Using the lantern, you might stumble upon an npc who basically says that your whole world and the ageless are all just puppets in a plot. After the conversation and having him leave the screen, he will disappear. I have found no other use for the room.

2. The trees of the veil hold a secret: i found a picture online of the hidden room near the npc who has you do some 'dares'. It seems as though if you brighten the image a qr code will be visible. If you scan the QR code you are given the message "The trees in the west of The veil are hiding something" After exploring (mostly thoroughly) I was not able to find anything.

3. Missing equipment: When i play souls-likes I tend to be as much of a completion-ist as I can be. During the game you will come across 'dull' weapons. If you find a whetstone, you can turn it into a blacksmith and have them upgrade it. In my play through I found 3 weapons to upgrade. However i think i found 5 or possibly 6 whetstones. I wonder if I missed any? Also, what is the best equipment in the game? The best weapon I found is the sword given by freeing the brother in the desert. 36 atk + 25hp, other good weapons are a 36atk +10 stam, 36 atk + 1 water, and a sword that has 37 atk. Best armour I could find the the bishop armour would have good all around stats.

4. Flower circles: If you stumble on any of the flower circles in the game and stand in the center you will be given the message "seek the tower of the sun" or something like that. The message obviously means the sun tower in the desert. If I recall correctly at the top of the tower. The message on the statue there says something along the lines of casting shadows. If you use the lantern there, a chest is revealed and unfortunately I cant remember what was inside. The flowers circles will continue to say to seek the sun tower. Missing something here?

Im sure there are other things but thats all the comes to mind at the moment. Absolutely loved the game!

In the sun tower, there's a gap you can dash across in the room with the switches. There's a hidden path to find an item.

This is pretty cool, I'm going to go have a look at that QR code!

1) I would also like to know if there is something further to do in that room. Maybe also kill that NPC?

2) Standby while I hunt...
EDIT: I was unable to find the QR code, nor anything in the western Veil. :(

3) I don't think I found that many whetstones... but given that the Stricken Blade, the Dark Blade, and the others you have mentioned all hang out at the 36/37 range of damage, I think those are the top tier weapons.

4) You are on the right track for the tower, but you went too high I think. There are some hidden rooms you need to access which will get you a special amulet; then you will be able to converse further with the Fairy Circles (traditional name from rings of mushrooms/flowers).

Things I noticed...

5) There are a couple of areas underground I was never able to access. In the tutorial dungeon, at the very southern edge there is a fence blocking off a small patch of land. Seems like there should be a way to get over there, but I never could. There is also a transition zone to the lava area where I can see a monster to the north, and I was never able to get up there either.

Got the fairy circles wrapped up! I was also unable to get to the area you mentioned in the tutorial zone.

for #2 I went back to do some investigating myself. in the secret room down the long hallway near the 'dare' guy, if you use the lantern and look closely about an inch into the darkness from the bottom right, you can still see the QR code! Very interesting although I still have not found what the veil is hiding! Ill try using the lantern maybe around the trees?

another thing I've noticed. Very rarely on some screens I will see an npc / enemy hugging the edge of the screen. If I approach they dash away quickly. Ill see if I can catch him next time I see it!
What does killin the 1st npc do?

I wonder if the West of the Veil thing refers to the sand worm pit in the grassless circle? I never noticed it until I had already gone to the desert, but maybe that’s a shortcut for getting to the cisterns earlier in the game. It’s weird how the camera locks onto the patch of grass just north of that when you’re near, though.

One of my favorite secrets so far has been the mask you can get from the spot overlooking the palace, north of the Veil, if you go into the trees to the right. Very respectable mixed stats even far into the game, and being able to just ignore almost every enemy in the Veil as you explore that area is a godsend.

I still need to figure out the extremely bright pit in the Usurper’s prison and when/where to use the singular Bolt Potion. I’m just starting the Church of Shape and the palace so I’m sure there are still plenty of clues/items to find.
