Brest Battle
I love the game but after capturing the initial base during the Brest battle you get US reinforcements deployed out in the open and by the next turn four of the units are destroyed by the King Tiger tank, the Tiger tank and the SP artillery even if you try and withdraw them into the roadway. Its pretty ridiculous to not deploy reinforcements so the player can actually use them as none of the units can really damage let alone destroy the King Tiger from the front and the airstrikes are absolutely useless. The player does not even have smoke shells.

you have said it yourself and have the solution already, none of your units can destroy it from a frontal attack, so don't, use the sides or rear and it's finished
Thanks for your response but it still does not explain why the developers deployed reinforcements right in front of a king tiger, tiger and anti tank gun and they can't move with out getting hit by over watch. It does not make much sense and its not like the German tanks come running out and expose their sides or flanks to me.

yes some choices seem odd, your placement or where ever you left a given unit, or did a objective at a given time just spawned them, making it seem or feel odd and strange, that's how it works sometimes and tbh had it happen to me more than a few times, when something warps out of nowhere right into the middle of my formation, but that's how scripted stuff works i'm sorry to say, doesn't always work well or feel that good, but overall i hope it doesn't spoil the fun of playing, apart from the realistic realism part, as it's just a game in the end
The long-term fix for this is to provide players with one or more historically accurate deployment zones and then let players pick where they want their units to start. This would enable truly historical scenarios, esp those where the combatants start in close proximity (hello Stalingrad) and is near the top of my list of gameplay improvements that I hope are on the menu for the Summer update!!
