First impressions and sadly missing units

Greetings everyone!

First I'd like to say that my initial tryout of the game is exactly what I wanted it to be! I've been looking for a table-top esque ww2 game for seemingly forever and this is the first one I've played that really seems to "click" with me. So just off that first impression I have to say well done!

The only slightly sad part of the game for me so far (again: VERY first impressions!) is that it doesn't (yet) have two of my favorite ww2 vehicles in it: the m24 Chaffee and the m26 Pershing. Now, I know that these were both of these are late war tanks so I'm not that surprised, but I'm hoping that as the game goes on we get these added in (and maybe a few more as well).

Regardless though: keep up the good work!

well, Normandy setting i guess, so, could be my favorite setting.......

i mean, Panther and Tiger 1 against cromwell and sherman with heavy air support on allied side... i mean perfect Normandy 44 simulation

however the price is too much for me

The Pershing was not deployed until the final months of the war. It wouldn't make a lot of historical sense to use it during the Normandy Invasion.

Yeah, I actually just read a thing on that and how they used the up-armored Sherman (now nicknamed "jumbo") during the battle of the Bulge because the Pershing just wasn't ready yet. So, yeah, I get that it wouldn't fit...

Still want it though ;-)

i guess if its Slitherine and Matrix Games, sure the Sherman Firefly its there, Sherman Firefly should be there with his "upgraded" gun that have some chance against Tiger 1 Armor

As for the units you mention - as other player point out they do not fit the time period well.
But who know what the future brings. I think everything is possible.

i saw or seen the videos..... one thing surprised me, and one not panzer corps 1 + 2 have............... more than 2 factions per battle???.... i mean, Slitherine and Matrix are always the best trough the years, but 4 players free for all is something new..........

are there some scenarios in the default release that support more than 2 players per battle? or player need make a new scenario with in example 4 factions or players???

There are two Skirmish/Multiplayer maps for 4 players (1x1x1x1 or 2x2, etc) available at release - so you can play them Day 1.
(On top of maps for 2-3 players - 1x1 and 1x1x1)

just Awesome, you are still the best......... we are clear to speak of innovation if there are working scenario for more than 2 players, just, Wow, seems very interesting.........
