GIve me Company of Heroes or Sudden Strike in a Turn-Based and it's insta buy (if reviews are good).
As for them actually /doing/ an RTS... then I recognize there is a market for that.
The OP can go play Steel Division 2 or Mius Front.
Morevoer Steel Division (which I personally don't like) and Ultimate General series are far from be "failed", maybe just for your taste.
I'm going to also chime in saying that I LOVE that this is turn-based and have been looking for this exact sort of game for a while now!
Newer games, simple halfbaked games and i agree that nothings (unfortunately) challenge Steel division /Warno or more hardcore Graviteam tactics.
Totally disagree. RTS is usually just click fest action with simple solutions command and conquer. Action not thinking and planing.
what complex? No way just the opposite its just that you're not quick enough and don't know the order. The games you mentioned are not realistic and they are streamlined with simple tactics so that you have to play in a certain order and be quick as in a twin stick shooter.
Mius Front, now that is a great military sim one of the greatest in my opinion with a rough UI to get used too, which isn't all real time and you still plan everything out before it goes into real time and you need to use pause at least on the very large maps with hundreds of units.
