This game still has no save function?

Got pretty far, took a break came back and now levels I beat are gone and makes me start over again. What gives?

yeah I don't think there's a way to select a floor on a specific level, if that's what you mean. Mine does save that I completed levels, but I can't select floor 2 for example of a building.

same, "continue" started me at the beginning and i'm not really sure why

It has a save function that works for almost everyone. I'm not sure why it restarted you but here is my save file:
