LET ME HARVEST!!!!
At the end of a mission during the story line I SHOULD BE THE ONE TO MOVE ON TO THE NEXT MAP!!! god its infuriating when im strapped on res and the map has 20K laying around i couldn't get because of fighting. If I kill and hostile ships I SHOULD be the one to move on to the next map. NOT FORCED the second that i finish the waves.

I remember in the old days (Homeworld 1 and 2) that they patched in after release so you'd get a chance to collect all the minerals after winning a map. Memory is weak on the details how they added it, but yeah, I'd love to get my hands on all resources as a reward

I went into the massive waves that get tossed at you after a large portion of my fleet getting killed by the asteroid map. I had 0 res at the start because the map before the asteroid I wasn't able to harvest as much as i wanted. I had to replace ships as I moved along the asteroid because I had the units set to hostile and protect the mothership but they decided that it was batter to chase rocks then to stay by the mothership.

playing on hard is HARD, i did get thru the asteroid field rather well tho. but ye the defence map was insane and left me lacking in everything, dont worry, the next after the next one is even worse xD as that has so little mats it hurts.

On Warsage Citadel, you can stay longer. I am not gonna mention any details, but I farmed the crap outta destroyers here. I have 26 enemy destroyers salvaged before I confirm to complete mission. lmfao.

I must be the one to progress further, not the f---ing game designer

I spent a while going through the game settings yesterday assuming that it was an option I needed to disable to auto-end the map after the last objective.
I came looking if anyone had worked out the issue after I just get irritated at my losses during the asteroid field - not as bad as it could have been but my resource controllers and support frigates are dumb and seem to just navigate into the path of the next large asteroid instead of taking the route I was trying to give them.

I remember my first playthrough of the OG Homeworld where I didn't collect everything at the end of each map (not sure if the game didn't let me or I just didn't because I didn't think like that back then) but every play through of each of the games since then I've always harvested everything whenever I could.

I'm shocked that the Auto-harvest isn't even a thing in H3 (at least the limited auto-harvest would have helped), such a backward step! Why, Blackbird? Why?

The odd bit is that they have a fancy 'initiate hyperspace' jump button in the Advanced Tutorial that takes up a good chunk of the middle of the screen, like they intended to allow you to resource harvest. (It has a really irritating 'hurry up and click the button' sound effect too.)

This button is used in Wargames mode :)

Ah, haven't tried Wargames yet. But that makes the inconsistency even more baffling.

It's really not the harvesting part that bugs me, but not having the opportunity to breath for a moment and enjoy the scenery/music.

HW2 used to auto-collect resources, no idea why they didn't keep that in

Huh, I ended the campaign with almost 200k in bank. Then again, I am a loot goblin
