Will they actually remove DRM in Homeworld 3?

Because it seriously ♥♥♥♥♥ with the FPS within the game. I don't know why developers and publishers put this into an RTS game. So stupid. I hope modders remove it entirely.

There's like 2-3 people complaining about DRM and they have weak pc's. If you've been MIA the more pressing matter is a weak game story and gameplay, not DRM.

Well, it is a technical issue that, unlike the story and gameplay, can be easily fixed.

When i played homeworld 2

my frigates and dds engaged another fleets frigates and dds , I would..

Maintain weapons lock whilst maneuvring my ships into a crescent to hit the side of their fleet. All my ships could fire at theirs, but only 30% of theirs were in range to fire at mine

I would also pay attention to my ships being targeted and retreat back the targeted ship whilst it maintained lock , so the ship would reverse to the back of the crescent but still fire at the enemy.

Whilst also maintaining targeting, part of my fleet will strafe closer and closer to their resource patches or carrier, so that i can take high value pot shots.

But at the end of the day...
Hw2 is crap so meh

Hw2 is crap so meh

It's not that HW2 is crap, it's that all those same tactics were implemented better in HW1 and Cata because of the ballistics system there.

HW2 relied on to hit rolls.

Denuvo is nothing in compare with the story gameplay bugs floppiness the HW3 is. But I also dislike Denuvo HDD/CPU buster.

yeah, but you should read up on what DRM's do to your SSD's....it's not good, and in the end costly.

yeah, but you should read up on what DRM's do to your SSD's....it's not good, and in the end costly.

I have played tons of games with drm and continue to use an ssd from 2017. Litterally never had an issue, continous read writes are not great for an ssd but the chance an typical user will kill there ssd from it before 10 years is low. The issue is drastically overblown.

Nah, as much as you guys rail against HW3, you just want to play it for free, and you can't.
