With RTX HDR it looks so awesome.
When you switch to SDR hours later, you think the monitor is faulty :-)
Don't use the in-game HDR from Homeworld, it's broken.

Have I already said how great it looks in 4K HDR? :-)

What are you talking about? RTX Video only works on Chrome, Edge, and a specific build of VLC.

Unreal Engine HDR never worked in any game, it was never finished. Another example of devs incompetence.

Ist works on Games!!!
I use it in almost all games that don't support HDR or where it's poorly implemented. And Nvidia's AI for HDR in games is marvellous. But it also works in videos, YouTube etc. I watch everything in HDR there too. I no longer care at all that something isn't HDR.

he means RTX HDR, you need either the nV App or nV ProfileInspector to use it, note that through nV ProfileInspector you get various quality settings but you still need to calibrate HDR through the Windows calibration tool, and also it comes as an extension which you download separately and then add it to the nV ProfileInspector software. With the nV App I think there are calibration options but there's no reference for you to tune against. To make RTX HDR work you need Windows HDR ON and Auto HDR OFF, then in-game HDR OFF.
obviously you need a nV card, probably an RTX
