How to do arena battle well

Tell me the best way to fight against all the gangs in the tortuga mission and the spider machines in the arena

Should I only get lucky??

1/ Buy plasma shotgun
2/ Duel the gang near the plaza
3/ Do 1st arena fight with option to get Furies - get 300 pesos
4/ Duel Furies
5/ Do 2nd arena fight - get 600 pesos
6/ Buy the plasma machine gun
7/ Duel Mike after drug his gang
8/ Do missions to join cartel and replenish both squad to full for free
9/ Do 3rd arena fight with Lucia and hacker - get 8000 pesos
10/ Buy the tank and an extra laser sniper rifle for your rescued sniper squad

What is the point of bringing the hacker and Lúcia in the third fight?
They don't attack, Lúcia doesn't replenish the emp grenade and you need Lúcia emp to infect the last spider in the arena to complete a secondary objective.

You are able to orchestrade a fight between the Cartel and the Integrators by infecting the last Spider.

Like arena master said: "more people, more money". You will get double of the prize money when you got Lucia and Flinch

Since it seems like a lot of people are talking about the mission and not the specific fights.

For the gangs, just make sure you have your squad in line formation, people have said you have better chances of surviving those fights. Other than that it is purely RNG. Don't feel bad savescumming that part.

For the spider fights, I've found the best way to do it is to send churchs squad between the hill in the middle and the wall on the left hand side (if you are facing from the entry way in) while throwing a smoke. They will be the disctraction squad. While that is happening, send Mason's squad up to the hill from the right hand side, they can then 1 shot the spiders with their SMAW's.

This explains to me why the first time I did all fights I got 5.000, and with lucia and Vlad I got 8000.

I got over 15.000 Pesos
use the gurilla fighters and there C4 to place it all over before engaging the fight.
They are beeing held hostidge near the shooting range.
get there after you become member of the Cartel. then you are allowed to move there.
you will anyway for bringing Luzi and the Truck over.
use the resuply of these Trucks tho for the C4 carges.
use them in the arena and bet the 2.000 win on 15 Sec.
then start the battle and detonate the pre-placed c4 when they are on it (spawn area)

so you can get in fact over 15.000
but you need to buy the Tank in order to have a friendly aproach to the chopper.
that will be -5000 then for the tank.

I wonder how many Pesos Tramp (kid that offers you the Shortcut to Vega)
whanted for the Shortcut to Vega.

when you whent to Chihuauhau or what ever city that they whant to liberrate, it ends up falling to the enemy and therefore the pesos are worthless to Tramp.
but if you never go there, he will excapt a higher ammount.
5.000 was not ennaugh.
I think it was 12. or 16.000 Pesos or so. above 10.000
(goal is to save up on the other poiunts for the long trip from Oklahoma to the next one.)

So i wonder if we can affort the tank in Torguga and also get the shortcut to Vega with Pesos unlocked.
