Feedback - Air Units and Infantry Weapons on the Field
Hello Developers,


First, I have the following feedback regarding Legion and Movement air units.

These particular units always do a strafing run when lunching missiles, even if I use ALT + Left Click. Also, they don't make the most of their missiles massive range. They get too close to enemy units when doing the strafe run. Last but not least, I noticed that there is no ALT + F(Force Fire) on generally all units. This can make it tricky if you want to pummel suspected buildings from a safe distance without accidentally moving a unit.

Second, Infantry cannot pick up multiple compatible weapons on the field.

Lets use a Movement, Sniper Team of 3 members. If I click a Laser Sniper riffle, they will pick it up. However, If I click a another Laser Sniper riffle, the Sniper Team just switches the sniper riffle. Ideally, each time you click a weapons on the field, they would add the weapons in sequential manner. First Laser Sniper Riffle(LSR) goes to the 1st team member, the Second LSR you click goes to the 2nd team member and the Third LSR you click goes to the 3rd member of the team. The same logic goes to all Infantry that use particular weapons types. Using this logic you could try mixing weapons types on the field as well. Sucks to have to leave so many useful weapons on the field.

Yeah Sniper squads always only picking up ONE WEAPON when their is 2 weapon slots is super annoying. I suspect this might be a serious oversight on the Devs part, or maybe they couldn't figure out how to get it to work properly.

Cus squads which have ONE slot if each weapon type (Merc squads for example), work FINE. hell I think RPG teams can even pick up multiple rocket launchers. But, maybe they can;t, I don't remember.

I just wish the Whole map got Auto Looted personally. Cus I too and sick and Tired have having to leave all this stuff behind just cus I can't PICK IT UP without dropping something else. (A good example being Pastors Squad from the first real mission, he can ether walk away with a Plasma Recoiless rifle which he starts with or a Plasma Mini gun from the REV 6 squad guarding the tank)

Auto Looting all the weapons dropped by enemies to trade would be a “God Sent” for the Campaign.

Add to that the lack of vehicle inventory. It's pretty normal for IFVs like the Bradley, or APCs like the Stryker to carry a Javelin or perhaps Stinger so that a detached squad doesn't have to lug them around. It would make the game much more interesting if infantry could load weapons they can't use into vehicles for trading or equipping squads that can use them at a later point.

Also, it would be nice for infantry to have loadouts, say for example when they loot a weapon, have a radius around the unit to search for weapons and the player can drag and drop them into the squads weapon slots.

This game has lots of potential. It has a great balance of Gameplay and Depth/Complexity.

Give it time! These Developers are proactive. This game, also, has not been tainted by (Diversity, Equity, Identity)DEI b6llsh1t like many other games. The priority of these Developers is to make a good game, followed by world building. So far everything has been "Organic". So far, they have earned my trust.

You want to see real b6llsh1t, check out Homeworld 3. Gearbox Software sh1t the bed by bringing DEI consultants to take priority over game play and story.
