As Nelson said, this game is quite hardcore tactical, especially with harder difficulty levels, but it's also very rewarding.
It depends on what you like, but if you're into demanding RTS games just go ahead and buy it!
The Starship Troopers one plays like a pseudo-tower defense/RTS. You have various units, emplacements, and objectives to capture, but the enemy will send in swarms of units to attack whatever point you've captured and they usually attack in waves. Fitting for Starship Troopers.
Terminator DF:D is more Real time tactics. It plays more similar to Men of War, Call to Arms, or Syrian Warfare. However, it is less micro-heavy than Men of War and Call to Arms, but its still important to have units have proper positions. Each units are also surprisingly customizable. A LOT less forging that Starship Troopers.
Starship trooper is so basic not sure it should even be called and rts its really more like tower defense.
This on the other hand takes some real tactics and is an exceptional experience. the campaign is great fun so far that after 2 mission i bought the dlc also (though i haven't played it yet)
Heads up this game is kinda hard (which is a big plus for me) while starship trooper is very easy(not a quality i like in strategy games) Though im working my way through the first campaign on normal in both games.
TLDR: For my money this game is much better.
Or I should get the Orange instead?
Do you like more realistic Strategy Game, where every so small looking deciscon can result in a different outcome of an battle?
Are you okay with your troops having only limited amount of ammo and fuel?
Do you like the setting of an Post Apocalyptic Earth where Humanity Fights against Machines for its survival?
Defiance I adore very much, played it fully like 3.5 times and exploring a lot of mechanics.
Broken Arrow......dont know why,but i donr like the game, grafic, gameplay ect.
Terminator will be very great in multiplayer it allow many different tactcs because all the possible unit-builder.
But Terminator have a very big problem . The very low playerbase and the near dead multiplayer. Next year the devs will release a multiplayer-patch.....perhapse more player come to the game.
But i saw it so often again and again. Many good indiegames died so quick because low playerbase.
I bought the game but refund it because the dead multiplayer. I prefer multiplayer and dont like singleplayer.
So let hope Terminator will not died so quick like so many other good games !!!!
All the save game get corrupted and you gonna have to replay all the time lmao.
