Any benefits of certain vehicles?
Like technicals, trucks, vans - are they useful for anything, maybe some specific upgrades down the line that I don't know of yet? So far they don't care about armor and just blow up if anything looks at them, without dishing out that much damage themselves. Sure they can tow platforms, but that's the only distinct benefit of having them I see.

Dozers are cool, since if you put a turret, armor and speed upgrade they are not that slow and are VERY tanky. With some turrets it can even act like a mini Bradley of sorts. If you don't have speed upgrade they are a pain though, plus the supply cost is kinda steep - main tractors are better if you want to focus on towing tons of stuff, since you can "steal" 2 towables from mission with them paying the same supply cost as per 1 dozer.

Movement armored carrier is actually decent. If you have two militia squads inside it, plus mounted turret, cannon and armor - it's a neat little fortress that can deal with most light vehicles and infantry. Just need to be careful, since explosives/heavy plasma still hurt a lot.

yes, every vehicles can have many benefits, for example the hemt you get in abiqui can tow 155mm artilery, the vans/trucks can get decent armor and recoiless gun to hunt down bigger units, the armored armored carrier can turn any area into a fortress, the bradler can get it's special tow launcher, the humvee is a lot more useful here than in real life with it's tow/chaingun/grenade launcher.
The striker is good all around with its stats and capacity.
The only vehicle that feels of is the APC, feels inferior to every other vehicle

I use my Abrams and Bradley to soak up damage, and have the Techs and vans come along behind as support. Bringing a .50 cal to the party, if anything, is still a .50 cal.

Technicals and humvee fire support your troops, they are not meant to be vanguards. Use your troops or tank as bait then bring in the technicals to support

Vans have fireports that allow troops to shoot broadsides while technicals don't. Technicals and vans are good for infantry support and are amazing if supported with weapon squads. Both technicals and vans can be equipped with grenade launchers which absolutely murder infantry and help clear buildings. Every infantry carrier is a source of reloads for missile infantry.

But if you are hurting on supplies keep only non-tanks that you need for towing. Infantry, howitzer or minigun bradley are the best to use against infantry. I've not found basic vehicles to be useful and the apcs are definitely not worth their cost.

As my first playthrough I've been prioritizing cost (supply)..so its rare I keep humvees, and instead use technicals and basically use them to ferry around my light arty and sorta hold the midline/backline. I like bradleys for my pushers, the thing I'll put some peeps into as I move into an area I'm not quite sure about yet. if i can't spare a scout team (snipers or something).

Since it seems I can tow the same things with a big rig as a dozer, I tend to use those instead tho at this point i only have 2 heavy platforms. basically they do the role of my technicals with light arty. they also move around my supply trailers.

Honestly I'm having a harder time with the huey i have. I love it, but it seems to attract a lot of fire so most of the time i have it delegated to fast taxi between relatively secure areas.

Trucks can replenish ammo for any units that enter the vehicle and provide fast transport between secured positions. Quite important for ATGM and RPG units etc. with very limited ammo and slow movement speed.
