I'll tell you a secret: all the characteristics of units/equipment/weapons are stored in easy-to-read Excel files in the game, you can edit these files and these changes will be applied in the game.
IT'S SO SIMPLE!

In the root of the game you need to open the “basis.pak” file using an archiver such as WINRAR. (password: “oKoo$]bnGTKJLMNBA9A”), copy the basis.pak/scripts/species folder to yourself separately, inside the “species” folder you will find all the characteristics of everything that is in the game.

How to edit:
For convenience, change the file extension to .XLS (for example tanks.xml -> tanks.XLS).
Now the file can be easily opened in Excel, for example, find “Fnd_abrams” in the first column and moving along the line to the right, look for the “supply_consumption” column, change “5500” to .... for example “500”, okay, now the daily cost of maintaining the abrams tank is only 500. Similarly, you can change any value, including for cars (cars.xml), helicopters (helicopters.xml), units (squads.xls) and so on.

In the “exp_levels.xml” file you can change the required amount of experience for leveling up units.

IMPORTANT !!!
How to save changes and add to the game:
After editing the files themselves, you simply save and return the original file extension .xml
BUT! DO NOT ADD CHANGED FILES to “basis.pak” or overwrite the original files.
You need to put the modified files in a similar path to the appropriate subfolder of the game (there is a folder in the root of the game called basis, you need to create the missing subfolders “scripts”\”species”). Modified files in these folders will take precedence over the original files.

Technically, this game is practically a clone of the game "Syrian Warfare" (2017), new high-quality textures and new maps, but the same game engine, and there are already many different manuals about "Syrian Warfare".

Its pretty easy to find out. first the .pak have a visible zip header, identified by PK. then if you look at the games bin files with a hex editor or ghidra (i think i used ghidra), search for the basis file name and zip handlings, near the basis pak strings, you directly see the plaintext password

I did think they looked like Windows keys and that they stayed onscreen for a suspiciously long time, but I didn't bother looking them up before.

Is it possible to change vendor inventories so they sell everything? I've looked at the shop_presets.xml file but I don't know how to modify it correctly.

Yes, when you open it (i use notepad) you look through till you find the right shop, for example the movement support base after abiquiu is named res base after the taos shop, i open it twice then search for what i want like for example FND_Bradley and copy it then paste it to the front of the res shop in front of the technical. On my phone atm but when i get home in a few hours ill post and example of what it should look like

I just wanted to write about this, and yes, it’s also very simple:

You need to find the save folder, Google it.
1. Save on the global map in a place where trade is possible.
(in this save, sell everything you have in storage, not units and equipment, but only what is not issued or installed, and lies separately in the warehouse, later you can buy it back at the same price)
1.1. Add 1x item to an empty warehouse, for example “M4 assault rifle”, save.
1.2. In the save folder (for me it looks like this....Documents\My Games\Terminator Dark Fate\profiles\a0fb608113295a5ac24ba9722bf6552b\saves\) you will find files with long names like "0d696c0386aa34b525f5f9f9490c495d.sav"
1.3. Okay, just sort by date modified, find the newest one and just open it with a text editor (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the "Notepad++" application).
2. You will see unreadable text, everything is fine, go to the VERY BOTTOM.
At the very bottom, the LATEST one will be “inf_m4_item” (if you left the M4 rifle in the warehouse), (you need to literally find the very last word in the file)
2.1. carefully select and replace with “heavy_railcannon_item” congratulations, now you have in your inventory the most expensive item for “5000” - a rail gun!

You can repeat, buying for example cheap armor for a truck or weapon sockets for a truck for 100 and exchange it for any rare weapon and the best armor for yourself.

Here is a table of all the items found, translate the description yourself, you will figure it out yourself.

Has anyone found where the legion infantry units armor values are at?

I assume that they must have some considering they recomend the NGSW for anti legion duty, and the fact that NGSW does indeed have significantly more AP but the virtually the same FL value. (wtf is FL stand for anyway, almost certain its another damage stat)

Looks like flame damage of some sort. Incendiary rounds have a higher FL damage than AP.

I'm quite lost on how to save files for some reason. Just saving as XML does nothing, but converting to other format before importing as XML results in CTD while booting the game. I simply tried to change projectile velocity values
