Units unbelievably inaccurate?
Human units in this game feel unreasonably inaccurate. A freaking Bradley, stationary, firing it's main cannon and coaxial machinegun at a single Homunculus in the open shouldn't be taking 30, 45 seconds to get the kill. This is a BRADLEY we're talking about, not an unstabilized truck doing 60mph over an unpaved road.

Infantry have this problem too. You're telling me the well-trained, well-equipped, experienced Founder squads cannot reliably hit an entire enemy squad in the open?

My suggested fix is that being stationary provides a significant accuracy buff - the current levels of accuracy only really feel appropriate for vehicles on the move and poorly trained infantry (eg Militia).

Allowing Rangers to use their grenade launchers is like flushing ammo down the toilet.
Sometimes rockets go through enemy vehicles.
This game feels like it's still in beta.

Yeah, maybe you have realized by now. The rng is heavily, heavily in favor of the enemy units. Their line of sight, rate of fire, ciritcal hit chance, damage output, toughness is way, way higher than your own units.
For all the "hardcore" gamers in these threads, that say, "the game isn't hard, it's not hard" the achievments still list in the single percent points.
Your best bet is to COMPLETELY ignore the secondary goals.
And don't worry, you can't bring your units into the mission as you like.
It is like the devs wet themselves thinking of making anything else than a micromanagment save/load spamfest.
For me worst game in a long, long time.

I found quite a few battles MUCH easier after completing the secondary missions. Probably wouldn't have been able to complete the cartel mission at all without doing most side missions before attempting the main objective. In another side mission you get the option to retrieve a unique tank equipped with a railgun. This thing is absolutely nuts in terms of stopping power and accuracy. Yet only 0.7 percent of the players did the small detour (about two minutes in friendly territory) required to get the tank if you look at Steam achievements.

RNG is RNG - there is no "favored side". A Bradley one-shotting everything would just do one thing: harm the balance.

It is very situational, too - line of sight is a a thing, distance is a thing. Drive a BMT behind the corner when infantery is trying to swarm it - you will see what happens to the infantery once they follow the BMT around said corner and get greated by .50.

Best advice I can give here - don't expect anything hitting anything when firing across the map. Don't "tank" encounters - try to lure enemies into close combat, break LOS, set ambushes. Also: smoke effects everyone - so while your units don't get hit when using smokescreens - the enemy might benefit from them as well. Best seen when the smokescreen is gone and a battle which lastet for minutes is over in seconds (because all that concentrated fire now actually hits something).

Wait till u reach late game mission. Enemies become incredible bulletsponges. Despite being same units u met from the beginning

Enemy A.I ignore wall and hill too . So if there is a small wall between you and A.I , guess who gonna shoot who ? It is the A.I who can shoot and damage you while yours hit the wall . AI can also shoot from below and above the hill while your unit need to be on even ground to even engage the enemy.

Not true - see the dev response relayed by an official mod here for details: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1839950/discussions/0/4344355442311528078/#c4344355442316708384

That is 2 different things altogether . one is about the vision , the one i am talking about is the ballsy LOS and A.I can shoot you practically anywhere while you can't , even a slightly elevated hill considered blocking LOS .

In Tortuga , place ATGM squad at one end of a long street and he will refuse to shoot any Humvee that appear from the other side of the street and have to get close .

Or just go assault the prison , the two vehicle can easily shoot you when you come out of the town but you can't fire back till you cross the valley .

Are you sure it's not the actual...weaoon ranges?

Each weapon has it's own range as the tutorial says and you can check it by mousing over the icon.

Sounds like a non RTS player ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ a RTS isnt holding there hand like most of them do

Firing trough smoke greatly reduce accuracy.
As other users have said, the games logic / rng favors the enemy while making your units unrealistically inaccurate unless they are snipers.

I'm baffled how terrible of a shot these people are, even in basic training with people who have never shot a day in their life were not this bad. Then in "The Village" with sim round training, people were still not missing the entire building when stressed / under fire, they instead doubled the size of their shot group which would still hit a person 40% of the time. They wouldn't miss the entire building or shoot in a 90 degree arc like this game makes them do half the time.

Also as other users have said, refund the game unless you like micro management sims.

If you want a combat game with good micro management, try the game Doorkickers instead of a RTS making you micro manage units.

100% agree, this game seems like they abandoned everything good in the first three (demo) missions and instead of improving on the demo build gave us something worse.

I just beat the game and about half way though i used a trainer to toggle Infinite ammo and fuel cause it wold take an ungodly amount of ammo to kill one squad in a building and so many missions were super fuel heavy with little to no supply on the map.

Because you never bothered to learn the game, it seems unfair😒
I agree that its very hard to kill units inside of buildings but thats because the devs programmed the ai a certain way.
Units in buildings can be efficiently destroyed by explosive shells or by using a strategy i only learned after i finished the game:
Use an apc/ifv with smoke, throw smoke in front of the building so they dont hit you and then have infantry place c4 near the building, retreat and blow up.
Or use units with grenades/grenade launcher to clear buildings
You are supposed to bring fuel and suppply trucks but most missions have an ideal way to handle objectives so its not really needed.
I think the devs should all difficulty options and the game at hard.
Then make a proper tutorial
