How's this supposed to work? You can hide but the game still screams at you because Balzano doesn't leave and he and his bradley crew attack the incoming wave when they reach the north of the map.

No idea if this helps you, but i stored all my units on the bottom right instead of top right of the map. Balzano never encountered a single unit when i did this mission.

(I am assuming you are hiding your units on Balzanos scrapfield?)

Just get rid of Balzano's gang with help of rebels first. I get my first Bradley from them, so it's worth it.

Hid them in the south where the outpost I cleared was. The game said I would have to fight since I took the Movement members so I went somewhere defensible. It's like this game wasn't play-tested whatsoever.

I never spoke to Balzano or the Movers, just interacted with the village elder and the mechanic.

So far i did avoid to help balzano just talked to get free unit.
From the movement i just waited to almost clean all the legion campement for the villager.
Once u are ready u can either kill the last unit & move on or ask for the movement help to attack so u get more free stuff.

Once triggered the game will give u a location side u can go there bu staying around the farm where balzano Hide is enough.

And about the fact the game is telling you to fight, it does mean to leave the area u need to clean them but whenever u want so don't be afraid to take ur time

From what I've seen you don't even need to attack him. he eventually just leaves on his own with the Bradley becoming abandoned. But I suppose it's probably better to get rid of him now as I noticed he can appear later on when looking through the achievements list.

The robots dont attack balzano.
because of how the objectives are structed, its much better to ignore to him since it will be a time crunch to do all objectives.
Did you activate the self destruct in haven? got the humvee?

Now,i didnt get the "Extra" units from balzano but i assume it's the snipers wich you get anyway later.
It was not clear if Balzano will attack you later but a dev mentioned you get a mission from him after a while so i assume it's missing out content if you kill him them.
There is no reason to attack him given all of this.
You probably don't take back the movement base after saving kondo, the movements comes and pushs the robots back very fast

Just finished replaying this mission. And the tank that Kondo hacked is still alive and just driving around at the wrecked gas station. I kinda wish the Dev's would let us keep it at that point, combine it with the disabled one we can get in the cartel zone and it'd be pretty sweet. Difficult to maintain but it's not like we wouldn't keep running into enemy armor to salvage. Maybe there should be an option to give it to the Integrators for equipment if it survives Abiquiu.
