Abiquiu mission bugged?

So ill start the Abiquiu mission and either right away enemies spawn in with my troops and thus i immediately fail the mission because i didn't hide from an enemy that literally spawns on my ass, or ill get to the truck and van by the river with the two snipers and then Kondor or whatever his name is says i need to not attack, and then saying that because im attacking hes dead, and then dies leading to failure again. Literally an unplayable mission currently for me. I saw online that the two snipers that are by the truck are supposed to talk to me but they don't. Hell sometimes they crack off a shot to nowhere for no reason. I believe it may be a glitch in the game, but ive tried multiple times and no matter what i end up failing due to me somehow shooting at the legion, who i have in fact not shot at or seen, unless they spawn in with me, which is impossible to make my troops not attack since they spawn almost inside my troops. Anyone know how to fix this, or have had this same bs happen to them. Would really appreciate any help, if there even is any help to be given with this predicament i am currently in.

I don't see how any Legion troops can spawn inside your units unless you are right next to the map edge where the danger symbols are at the start of the level. The game also shows you a map marker on the opposite side of the map where to place your people when hiding.

Its a weird Bug right of the start. Had to restart the mission 5 times till it fixed itself

having less than 100 supplies left before starting mission - always starting good and not messing any scripts. If you adjust number of supplies - make sure you have <100 before mission start :)

I ended up refunding it, as there was no way to get past this failure, some AI was attacking legion in the middle of nowhere and i was blamed for it, ♥♥♥♥ this game.
