How alive and viable is the multiplayer in this game?

I'm thinking of buying this game, but I don't like playing rts against AI, I don't feel happy competing with a stupid bot. I am only interested in multiplayer and would like to know:

- How much of a priority is multiplayer in this game? Possibly the main one here is singleplayer and multiplayer is just for ticking.

- How good is online in multiplayer? How does matchmaking work in general and how quickly does it find a match?

I'm currently playing WARNO MP. There online is even smaller than in this game, but this game from the very beginning was created as a multiplayer and company and missions rather an application, training before multiplayer. If in Dark Fate SP and MP have equal priority and are equally well developed, or perhaps 95% of players currently playing single player online, then I would like to know about it.

Here are some videos of multiplayer matches going on. Currently the mp is young but enough for fun games. The devs are already working on a big MP mpatch that will bring new maps, QOL, new game modes, etc...

So far the game is VERY much focused on the campaign.
There's only 4 multiplayer maps. (and the previous games on the same engine, Warfare and Syrian Warfare didn't have multiplayer at all.)

In the first video, the player plays against the AI, if I'm not mistaken. I saw the second one, I generally like the gameplay, but the video does not show how long he waited for matchmaking, maybe several hours, maybe he invited friends to play.
And in general, I've seen very few multiplayer videos on YouTube, while 99% of all videos are about singleplayer.

Please tell me how long do you wait for matchmaking on average? And how does matchmaking work? Are there ranked games? More details about the multiplayer, because there is really little information about it.

Hard to say with so few people online and so little to do in the multiplayer. First match I joined I'm pretty sure there was a hacker using cheats to make me and my team mates units stop accepting move orders.
