I'd say it's an intermission. I welcome the change :lunar2019smilingpig:

Bro you said I like men for enjoying the cartel mission once I beat it. This game is clearly just not for you and that’s okay.

In retrospect the cartel mission wasn't so bad. The game seems to require many many restarts and that's fine with me, I like the difficulty.
The cartel mission is horrible, anyone defending it got RNG ♥♥♥♥♥ or cheated

What exactly is super hard about it? i suppose if you didnt get the bradly early its a bit harder later

if you do all the things in the mission you get tons of militia and rpg squads to get to the helicopter quickly

Tons? While the enemy has megatons of units......in addition the game design is just ♥♥♥♥! You go up to the helicopter and then again all way down to save that guy!
If that one tank survives in the middle, it will drive to the house hes in and shot him dewad - game over! So alot RNG is here involved - and frustrating!
whens the cartel mission? i just finished the albqurque mission or w/e the supply situation is nuts imo, units cost too much i think or maybe its just me, i gave me units the survival trait but still i can only last 7 days lol i already deleted some units got rid of the militia some vehicles i took with me, kept the bradely, hum vee an apc i stole from the bad guy an free truck/supply also i have like 10 units plus vehicles an drivers so maybe its 15 units lol 2 drivers, plus mac an 2 technicaels..my writing skills arent the best sorry

I parked a couple RPG guys in the building overlooking the road, along with a a heavy unit and they more or less killed everyone trying to run up.

Buildings are kinda God mode right now.

Exactly how I think it would go down, people in general are selfish and think cruel the devs nailed it. You might not like looking into the mirror but its true.

xd the stupidity of the writing there is so bad. The cartel making a deal with the terminators? on what planet would they live long enough?

yeah i agree with this the game punishes you for keeping units alive and the amount of supplies you need it absurd and very easy to soft lock yourself later with having lots of goodwill points but there simply isnt enough supplies to buy from settlements

hardest part of the game is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ overmap lol

Some humans collaborating with the terminators is a pretty common theme in the Terminator franchise
I don't mind having missions focused around human enemies like the Cartel, but the difficulty of the missions is absurd. The game openly encourages you to make do with smaller forces to save supplies, the tutorials encourage you to disband excess units and sell excess equipment. So when you are forced to fight hundreds of enemies and vehicles in these heavily scripted missions where one wrong move means a restart, the game losses it fun factor and just becomes a slog. I just want these missions to end so I can get back to fighting Legion. You clearly need a large and powerful force with heavy weapons to beat the cartel missions, but the game doesn't really allow that. I like this game a lot but cannot fathom how these missions made it through play-testing without anyone mentioning these issues. I have spent two whole days just trying to complete these two missions on normal difficulty! I've been playing RTS and tactical games for over 20 years and have never struggled like this before. I hope the devs see how many people are failing to enjoy these missions and work to either rebalance them completely or overhaul the supply usage of units to allow you to bring much larger forces to bear.

I finished the Chihuahua mission with the first units you call in at the start because i didnt realise you could call reinforcements the entire time.

but if i did figure it out earlier i wouldnt have had to suffer through the entire thing so much lol it would have been a cake walk
