No Sound in opening Movie

Is there supposed to be sound in the opening cutscene? The one with the red terminator vision? I get sound everywhere else (menu, in game etc)

I don't have sound during the opening movie either. Sound in mission is fine though.

I have the same Problem. No Audio in the opening cutscene. During the mission it is okey.
I alreadyy checked the files and reinstall the whole game... Didn't solved it

There is an issue with the opening movie where sound doesn't play.
We have been looking into this but still haven't determined what is the issue.
A small subset of systems or set ups just don't seem to play the audio correctly.
We are still working on this, trying to get this fixed.

it seems if you have two sound cards installed, videoes wont play audio, I have a focusrite installed I use for music production and unless I deactivate it I don't have any sounds in videoes

This was corrected in today's patch (1.02.950). Sound is now working in the opening and closing movie / video.

not entirely if you have an external soundcard (like focusrite) as well as the intern sound card, there's no sound in the splash screen or videoes unless you deactivate the external sound card

I just bought the game today Jul 18. I'm not using external sound card. running sound through 3080 ti's hdmi port to my tv. This problem is still happening for me

On my side, my JBL headphones got split channel in to gaming and chat "devices", by default I'm using chat one but intro was completely silent on that, switching to gaming channel helped.

i found the problem, when you have two soundcars (i got a focusrite scarlet too) the game sends the videos sounds to the focusrite, but the ingame sound to my main card, so i have ti disable the focusrite every time i wanna play it
