you have vehicles without crews

maybe I disband some drivers, now when I want to move to next position, it says "you have vehicles without crews", and I don't know how to assign another driver to a vehicle.

you can view the vehicle then drag a non-assigned driver unit to its Driver slot ? or you mean you dont have enough, in which case you need to hire some from town. .. (or sell vehicles)

same thing happens if you have more trailers than tow units

you need a driver-crew or a unit that has a steering wheel in its profile. this kind of units can board vehicles and turrets to use them

If you don’t have enough crew to drive them you can’t take it with you. So don’t disband crew before disbanding vehicles unless you are at a town you can replace said crew at.

the issue i have with the whole crew thing is i have enough drivers but everytime i try to assign them to said truck or what ever it just stuff up and switches to the inf unit and 99% of the time i cant assign crew

I have exactly the same problem - if your unit list extends beyond one page then you cannot drag and drop the driver unit on the vehicle. What the devs should have done is allowed you to select the vehicle, click on the blank driver slot then choose the driver from the list of eligible units - no scrolling required. They could also add a 'automatically crew all vehicles' button. Honestly, the micro in this game is terrible.
