Taking or making cover?

So are we going to be able to place cover down? Like Sandbags? Also why can't we take cover behind objects. For example like halo wars (behind cars, buildings, roadblocks) or men of war? I feel like that should be in almost every rts game

But objects do block shots, you can totally go in cover behind cars and such, there are no indicators for it tho

nice. Was just looking for whether cover was in. Used to company of heroes where units actually conform to cover.

So cover is literal in this game. Physical things like the ground and buildings do block incoming fire. It’s projectile based. That being said throwing infantry into prone in a crater or ditch will keep them from being shot at.

They lay down I do use cover but like you have to position them there its not like other games where the ai does it itself. I just want to be able to build some sort of cover for infantry fights. The buildings are cool but its still clunky as at times they just stand or sit there looking at the enemy that is shooting them lol.
