Hidden Enemies
So that clearly hostile enemy vehicle or weapon emplacement sitting there that is made obvious by the fact there is a barricade there. Yet for game reasons I can't see them before they see me because of an arbitrary "hidden" mechanic.

Well shoot, while were at it were can I find such great active camouflage that makes my enemies blind to a car, tank, or two story walker sitting right in front of them.

Kidding aside... Fire your QA people. This game had a lot of potential, and is crushed by a list of arbitrary handicaps placed on the player.

Set a squad to not shoot by themselves and crawl up on them for vision.
Concealability mechanic is just fine. This is a skill issue with you.

Right, it's a skill issue that the enemy has better vision range than the player.

Sure that passive camouflage that the green cartel tank has by just sitting in the middle of the black road is skill, not just a weird mechanic.

Come up with a better excuse than "get gud" if you're going to try and defend usual mechanics.

I totally agree, military troops are well know for getting caught unaware, and never use active scout units to find enemies, they just get on their bellies and crawl towards the big "fog" that surrounds us all....

ffs.
