Mission 4: chosing which side ?

Ok. So you got the choice to join the side of the guy "owning" the tech field or to help the other guys fighting the machines.
I wonder if you get any advantages if you chose Balzano except a few supplies. You can´t take the vehicles from the field anyways, then he attacks you,
If you chose the other side you get a whole "army" for free to fight of the machines and also the supplies.
So where´s the point?

think of this as a RPG /RTS chosing a side will help with later missions can't say much don't want to spoil you but you get some good stuff depending on who you help in the future.

IIRC if you scare him off, you get a free Bradley IFV out of it. Good to put Big Bob into.

i think a lot of missions allow you to stay behind to loot so you don't have to scare him risking a fight .

You have to deal with him in a very specific way or he takes the Bradley with him.

If you don't side with the Movement, there may be an 'extra' mission you discover later on in the game (quite quickly after Abiquiu actually)...

At least he abandoned his Bradley......and he has an oil tanker there, to fuel up the Abrahams

if you side with the local people (free the camp in the south) you get a strider,
belzano will leave so you can take the bradley,
belzano will be a part in a later mission

i think the best solution for this map is atm,
go to the truck at the start, talk to the scavengers, take the truck with you,
go south to the bridge talk to the movement guys and kill the attacking leagion troops,
talk with the neutral people about everything,
talk to the weapon dealer and trade the truck for units,
go to belzano and talk with him, agree to help with the movement and ask for people to get a free sniper unit,
go to movement, talk with them and get some more free units and ask for help with the legion troops in the south,
talk to the hacker in the north
go south and get the heavy weapon unit at the church,
free the camp and talk to the mechanic to get the strider, drive to the bottom left part of the map with your units, and then kill the attacking legion troops.
collect at the end, the fuel truck, the abrahams, the bradley, the humvee and with the semi truck the trailer. (you can get some nice upgrades for the trailer, like armour and 2 turrets)

For me, Balzano don't send me sniper team, it just say "You have balls to say that"
And after, i can't have the stryder, i don't know why he don't want to give me...

I am pretty sure if you take the truck at the start the 2 guys (sniper team) wont speak up to join you

Yeah when beta testing the game, I managed to get a result where I never got the stryker OR anything else of value... ;(((

On the way to the 'southern base' there's a religious guy who operates a heavy weapon squad. You get him for free if you ask him to join.

If you completely ignore Balzano, he will run away after Movement beats Legion.
And he will abandon EVERYTHING. Even 2 snipers for you to take.

If you leave Balzano alive, it should be noted that the next time you encounter him, it's possible to acquire another Bradley with TOW and an Abrams with a GAU-8, assuming you can shoot out the crews / set them on fire without blowing up the vehicles. I'm not sure how that goes if you finish him off right there.
